You may register for a paid account with our Site by completing and submitting the subscription form. From time to time, we may offer site visitors an opportunity to register for a free account by supplying your email address. You must not allow any other person to use your account (whether paid or free) (collectively, “Account”) to access the Site or the Services. You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your Account. You must not use any other person’s Account to access the Site or the Services.
The following terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of subscriptions whether in print or online, or both. Any agreement to purchase a subscription or access to our Services is with Astra.
The Service we offer involves a one (1) year subscription option. Pursuant thereto, you will receive two (2) issues of the Magazine.
Each subscription/access right is personal to the individual subscriber, and is a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of access from the date of contract, fully in accordance with the License Section set forth in the Terms.
For print subscriptions (where offered), the Magazine will be delivered to your nominated postal address, based on the number of issues stated on the subscription page, for one (1) year starting with the current issue at the point of contract, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will make every effort to deliver each new issue to subscribers before the trade publication date, but cannot be held responsible for postal or customs delays. Non print delivery will occur once your order has been accepted, via your access online.
We reserve the full editorial control over our Services and reserve the right to make changes, including, but not limited to, our editorial approach, the right to remove certain Content (as defined in the Terms), which may be or may become contentious, complained about, unlawful, or which has not been complied in accordance with our requirements, and includes the look, feel and functionality of our Services.
When you request a subscription (which includes renewals or subscriptions) whether in print, online or via mobile downloads (as applicable), the subscription will be for the period agreed, in multiples of twelve (12) months, unless otherwise stated herein.
Subscriptions and access rights are supplied subject to availability, remaining in current circulation, and continuing to be owned by us or licensed to us. If we are unable to supply any subscriptions/access rights for the agreed term, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide you with a full refund. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not however be liable for any other direct or indirect losses, nor any losses, caused as a result of not being able to supply you with the subscriptions for all or any of the periods subscribed to. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If your request for a subscription/access rights is accepted, you will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your online Account and password, restricting access to your computer and preventing unauthorized access to your Account. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that occur under your Account or password. If you believe that your Account or password is being or is about to be used by anyone else, you should inform us immediately via email at email@example.com.
The price you pay for your subscription/access rights should be the standard pricing as indicated on the Site, which will depend on your billing/invoice address. These prices are valid for purchases made during the calendar year to which the purchase relates.
While we try to ensure that all prices we display and quote are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover any error in the prices of the subscriptions you have ordered and this is greater than what you have paid, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of recommencing your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as canceled. If you cancel for this reason and we have already processed your payment, you will receive a full refund.
Purchasing a subscription on or through the Site requires a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to Astra and the third-party payment processor used to process a charge(s) on your credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the subscription (plus any applicable taxes or other fees) that you purchase.
All prices, fees, and any applicable taxes and other charges are payable in U.S. dollars. When you make a purchase, in addition to providing traditional billing information such as your name, billing address, and credit card information, you may also be required to provide additional information to verify your identity before completing your transaction. If you are completing the purchase using a third-party payment processor, that processor’s terms and conditions apply to your payment transaction.
When purchasing a subscription on the Site, you represent that you are providing information about yourself that is true, accurate, current, and complete, including your name, billing address, e-mail address, and any additional information as indicated. Additionally, you warrant and represent that the payment details you provide are both legitimate and accurate and confirm that you are the person indicated in the “Billing” information provided.
When canceling an annual subscription, all future charges associated with future years of your subscription will be canceled. You may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time; your cancellation will become effective at the end of your current annual billing period. You will not receive a refund, prorated or otherwise, for the remainder of the annual term. However, your subscription access and/or delivery and accompanying subscriber benefits will continue for the remainder of the current annual billing period.
For your convenience we can enable continuous renewal of your subscription at the then-current price until asked to cancel. We will never charge your card without sending a reminder. If your credit or debit card can’t be charged, we will invoice you directly instead. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THIS AUTOMATIC RENEWAL CHARGE, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE END OF THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.
IF YOU PURCHASED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROCESSOR, PLEASE REFER TO ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROVIDED TO YOU IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PURCHASE.
