ASTRA MAGAZINE featured fiction, poetry, comics, art, and narrative non-fiction, from names around the world. Our online publication supplemented the print magazine with essays, book reviews, and cultural criticism. Our pages established a borderless and vital mode of reading, with a focus on literature in translation and original writing in English. We were interested in the inter: the overlaps, the in-between, the authors who defied easy categorization.
